Steel fire protection systems
Steel fire protection systems
Flameproof coatings/insulation layer-forming agents (fire retardant paints) protect steel girders against the heat of flames and prevent these steel components from failing or the entire or parts of a building from collapsing for some time, e.g. 30, 60, 90 or 120 minutes. To ensure that the paint coat bonds to the components, the paint is applied to pre-treated steel components.
